My earliest memory of Tony Robbins was from the movie <Shallow Hal>, and that elevator scene of him hypnotising Jack Black's character really disturbed me. His aggressiveness, cult-like approach and the chant of  "Devils, Come Out!", violently grabbing Hal's head was just too much for me to handle.

Imagining Tony Robbins doing this to all his participants at his Live Events

Even though I knew it was a Comedy and a Movie, I was imagining in my mind that he would do that very same hostile ritual at his seminars to all participants.

And every night when I were to stay up late surfing through cable TV, bingeing on Sour Cream Chips or Bars of Kinder Bueno, his informercials for his live seminars would go on for hours on loop and all I saw was a sea of people, all under his hypnotic trance jumping up and down, losing control of their life and spending a whole load of money as a result of his schemes. And I will never let myself be fooled in that way.

Hundreds and Thousands of People hypnotised by Tony Robbins

And for all those reasons, I was determined to stay away from Tony Robbins at all cost, as he and people that followed him were all Crazy.

But, interestingly, from Time to Time I will have peers around me who would mention his name to me, or I will hear about him on social media through his ads to his programme, seminars or audiobooks. I refuse to pay any attention other than brushing those signals aside, and carried on with my Life.

Until one night in August of 2019...

1. Only Crazies believe in Gurus like Tony Robbins.
